Why read it?

1 author picked Act of Fear as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

Book One of the Dan Fortune series. In my opinion, Michael Collins never received the popularity he deserved, most likely because he was determined to write the truth about social and political issues and publishers are a timid gang. And beyond all that, he was a masterful storyteller. What’s more, who can fail to love a one-armed PI?

From Ken's list on 20th century PIs.
