Why read it?

1 author picked Absolution by Murder as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

Though utterly fascinated by the story, I had a somewhat different take on what might have happened there in the year 664 and felt inspired to try my own hand at a historical murder mystery.

From Theresa's list on throwing light into the Dark Ages.
