Will I love A Path with Heart?

I often find myself annoyed with books on Buddhism. While most drop a few pearls of wisdom, many quickly get sidelined with instructions on how to meditate—or into the "religious" side of things, promoting dogma that has more to do with institutions and less to do with actual spiritual growth.
A Path with Heart manages to mostly avoid those pitfalls, focusing the important things we are all looking for in spiritual practice. This was the absolute best book I have ever read that explains the spiritual path.

I love that this book is so balanced and whole. Jack Kornfield helped me understand spiritual growth early in my journey through simple but sophisticated psychology and deep nondual philosophy and experience.

He covers everything clearly, with amazing stories and a fantastic writing style that I found inspiring, challenging, and comforting all at once.

This book by the revered Buddhist teacher was a balm to my soul at a time when I’d left all my previous religious beliefs behind and was searching for ways to think about good and bad, right and wrong. I did not become a Buddhist but here I discovered practical techniques, guided meditations, stories, and other gems of wisdom that eased my journey through the world.
