My favorite read in 2026

Book cover of The Ending Writes Itself

Susan McCormick ❤️ loved this book because...

As a mystery reader and lover, this book was delightful, with its authors trapped on an island. Each character was well-sculpted, though I particularly enjoyed the husband/wife writing team where the wife did all the work and the husband reaped all the glory. Funny, suspenseful, and a great who-dun-it.
