❤️ loved this book because...
This is a baseball (sports) romance, and I don't even like baseball.
I loved the characters and relationships. I really enjoyed the reasons for the characters to be rivals and how the romance and relationship built from there.
There was so much good diversity (including: transmasc rep, LGBTQIA+ rep, ADHD and anxiety rep, as well as a side character that was deaf). I literally could not put the book down.
