Awesome band-of-thieves story set in the GrishaVerse with a strong Peaky Blinders vibe. Great characters full of light and shade, tight writing and rich world building. (These characters were woven into The Shadow and Bone TV series, but the show - while good - didn't do these characters true justice. So much more depth on the page.)
*See the Grishaverse come to life on screen with Shadow and Bone, now a Netflix original series.*
Nominated for the CILIP Carnegie Medal 2017, this fantasy epic from the No. 1 NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author of the Grisha trilogy is gripping, sweeping and memorable - perfect for fans of George R. R. Martin, Laini Taylor and Kristin Cashore.

Claudia Gray is so good at giving fresh life to favourite tropes. This one is all about star-crossed lovers - literally. It's clever, fast-paced and thoughtful, and has some great moments as Noemi and Abel move from enemies to allies. An excellent combo of romance and intelligent sci fi.
A stunning blend of action-packed science fiction and love against the odds. Perfect for fans of the DIVERGENT series.

This is the third book in The Expanse series, and the world building and characters just get better and better (and they were brilliant to start with). The crew on the Rocinante (and I include interlopers Bobbie and the foul-mouthed Avasarala in that max) are among my all-time favourite literary ensembles. Like the first two books, this one is intelligent and profound, but also action-packed, funny and grounded in a way you don't often get in sci fi. And, between the politics, human foibles and the frequent threat of war, the future depicted in these books feels frighteningly real - albeit on a galactic scale.
The third book in the NYT bestselling Expanse series, Abaddon's Gate opens the door to the ruins of an alien gate network, and the crew of the Rocinante may hold the key to unlocking its secrets. Now a Prime Original series.
HUGO AWARD WINNER FOR BEST SERIES
