Book cover of The Soul of Money: Transforming Your Relationship with Money and Life

Miluna Fausch ❤️ loved this book because...

Most of us were raised outside of the ultra-rich community and this is not a world we know. I didn't really understand the burdens and emotional toll that inheriting and/or being responsible for millions of dollars could take on someone. This book is unique because it isn't the typical "stop being poor by doing the following," but it's a deep dive into self-identity, what money really is, and how to structure a life of meaning by being wealthy in many ways, not just financially.

I had the pleasure of reading The Soul of Money years ago, and then I read it again, and then I read it for a third time last year. Each time brought me to a new understanding of my own values and what money can do for my life. In fact, my husband and I were personally coached by Lynne at the East West Bookshop in Mountain View, California.

What is this book about?

This liberating book shows us that examining our attitudes toward money-earning it, spending it, and giving it away-offers surprising insight into our lives. Through personal stories and practical advice, Lynne Twist asks us to discover our relationship with money, understand how we use it, and by assessing our core human values, align our relationship with it to our desired goals. In doing so, we can transform our lives.

The Soul of Money now includes a foreword from Jack Canfield and a new introduction by Lynne Twist, in which she explores the effects of the Great Recession and environmental concerns about…

Book cover of Sensitive Is the New Strong: The Power of Empaths in an Increasingly Harsh World

Miluna Fausch ❤️ loved this book because...

I was aware of and had been in classes and workshops led by Anita Moorjani before I ever picked up this book. I took Sensitive is the New Strong on a spiritual retreat in the mountains of Big Sur, California and I devoured it. It felt like for the first time in my life that someone else really knew what it felt like to be so tender-hearted, so doubted by others who are not psychic or empathic, and so impacted by other people's projections and energy. It was a HUGE relief as I read the book cover to cover in just a couple of days.

Anita gives powerful exercises to begin to heal yourself more and more. She is a fabulous writer and a visionary who envisions creating a world as I do - a place where all of us could be honored and valued for who we are and the work we do.

What is this book about?

The New York Times bestselling author of Dying to Be Me returns with “a gorgeous and powerful field guide to the empath living in today’s wild world” (Laura Berman, PhD, author of Quantum Love) and how they can fully embrace their gifts of intuition and empathy.

Empaths not only sense other people’s emotions, but also absorb them—sometimes to their own disadvantage, often leading to overwhelming sensory overload and feelings of confusion or low self-esteem. Their willingness to help and please others might make them prey to opportunists or cause them to give away more energy than they can afford.

Book cover of Cured

Miluna Fausch ❤️ loved this book because...

After attending a series of classes with Dr. Jeff Rediger, I felt compelled to continue the work by purchasing his book. Dr. Rediger said something during class that I've never heard anyone else say and this was "we don't study how people heal." I had a fist-sized benign tumor removed from my head with two surgeries years ago and no one ever asked me what I did to heal so fast and restore my well-being .

I'm facing some more abnormal cells (tumors) in my body now and this book is allowing me to understand what is happening from a physical point of view. My desire is always to heal from a place of power and holistic medicine first, because this is what the body knows and this is what I've studied.

The doctor is an incredible writer and his viewpoint is positively unique as he is an M.D., Psychiatrist and also a minister, which gives him a "whole" approach vs. the only allopathic approach of "parts" or "symptoms."

If you are facing illness, supporting a loved one who is, or just want to create an optimal state of health and well-being for yourself, you simply must read this book.

What is this book about?

When it comes to disease, who beats the odds ― and why?

When it comes to spontaneous healing, skepticism abounds. Doctors are taught that “miraculous” recoveries are flukes, and as a result they don't study those cases or take them into account when treating patients.

Enter Dr. Jeff Rediger, who has spent over 15 years studying spontaneous healing, pioneering the use of scientific tools to investigate recoveries from incurable illnesses. Dr. Rediger's research has taken him from America's top hospitals to healing centers around the world―and along the way he's uncovered insights into why some people beat the odds.

UpLevel Your Communication

By Miluna Fausch ,

Book cover of UpLevel Your Communication

What is my book about?

Original description:
The world has a deep need for true leaders who are mature and move beyond their ego to get to the heart of the matter. The leaders of the future will be those who lead by example with emotional depth, character, candor, and humor; those who speak with intelligence and heart, compassion, and courage.
In UpLevel Your Communication, author Dr. Miluna Fausch helps executives and leaders learn to speak in a voice that is clear, charismatic, courteous, compassionate, courageous, and inclusive.

It's time to stop talking at people instead of with them. It's time to stop using aggressive, bullying language and expecting folks to do what you say simply because you're the boss. When you choose to begin to speak differently, it will lead directly to a better quality of life, both personally and professionally. It's time to reinvent and re-create yourself and the way you express yourself, and find your pitch-perfect voice.

My "short" description:
If you want to elevate your speaking & presenting skills to influence, speak with confidence, and be heard, you'll love this book! This isn't a dry book about communication for executives, but a sassy romp through the world of speaking and presence including case studies, Dr. Miluna's own story, plus her concierge Vocal Archetypes® system. Readers called this book a perfect airplane read you can satisfyingly learn from and finish on a cross-country or international flight.
