Here are 4 books that Stone River Ranch fans have personally recommended once you finish the Stone River Ranch series.

The
author’s writing voice and style captured my attention right off the bat.
Tessa
James and Jackson Spivey came alive for me in In Her Sights and remained
with me for months after. That’s the kind of book I enjoy reading. The book
title and Western sharpshooting female theme drew me in right away, and the
pace and excitement of a bad boy and a classy and spunky lady kept me turning
pages.
The author’s inclusion of Annie Oakley was a bonus. I’m a huge fan of her
marksmanship.
Most
of all, I liked the character's transformations and their happily ever after.
This is a sweet romance with plenty of grit and grace.
He's sworn off love, but she has his heart in her sights and doesn't intend to miss.
Stained by his wastrel father's legacy, Jackson Spivey lives on the fringes of society. Townsfolk tolerate him since he keeps the local hotel supplied with fresh game, but mothers coach their daughters to avoid him. After tasting consistent rejection, Jackson spurns all attempts at courtship. The only things he can count on are his guns and his God.
Tessa James has been secretly in love with Jackson for ages, but trying to gain his favor only pushes him further away. When she learns…
I did not want to finish this book! The characters made me
laugh and cry, and the slow-burn clean romance between Boone and Ruby tugged at
my heartstrings.
I wanted to know more about Boone’s country music career, and see Ruby and her lively teenage daughter, Violet, walk into their
mother-daughter relationship (I won’t say more so I don’t spoil anything). I wanted more. Plain and simple. The ranch and horse scenes kept me engaged. I can only
hope there is a sequel.
The characters deal with tough issues we all may have experienced at one time or another in our
families and have come out singing. Character advice stood sound, as did all the
horse scenes. I’ll be thinking about this book for a long time.
Hitting rock bottom has landed country star Boone Williams in the middle of his worst nightmare: a recording studio on a horse therapy farm hours away from Nashville. He has no interest in dealing with his problems or writing a new album. And he’s definitely not interested in the gorgeous, feisty mom of one of Helping Hooves’s young clients. She doesn’t even know who he is! But his record label is one tabloid story from cutting him loose, and Boone can’t seem to turn around without bumping into Ruby and her daughter,…
I loved how Tricking Christmas is filled with humor, rodeo, and romance. Truitt Lucas is a calf roper is so funny and rendering. He's an alpha male who also has a soft side.
But Jolee Judson fascinated me the most. What a trick rider! She's talented, sweet, and a go-getter. The kind of woman I strive to be.
There's a smooth mix of rodeo, ranching, and farming with games and family fun. Shanna Hatfield makes me laugh. I can see perfectly what the characters are doing. Her descriptions leads me into the theater of my mind with clear anticipation.
This rodeo series is fantastic. I've read every book!
Will an innocent offer of help lead two obstinate hearts along the road to love?
Truitt Lucas is the guy who brings laughter wherever he goes and refuses to take life too seriously. Beneath his carefree exterior, though, he yearns for more adventure and excitement than he’ll find working on the family ranch alongside his cousin and grandmother. When the opportunity arises to assist a trick rider, Truitt eagerly lends a hand. However, he soon finds himself drawn to the perplexing woman who barely tolerates him.
Jolee Judson is living her dream as a trick rider on the rodeo circuit,…
Who doesn't love a story about overcoming hardships, lies, and strong family roots? Wildflower Falls took me to a horse ranch in the Appalachian Mountains. One of my favorite book settings. And boy, did Denise Hunter do a fabulous job describing the area.
More enticing is the heroine, Charlotte Simpson, who is trying to find out who her biological father is after her mom's death. Will one small clue to enough? Maybe since she hired two men to build a new stable on her ranch . . . who might be her half brothers. Oh, the possibilities!
Enter Gunner Dawson, a vagabond horse trainer who's running from love and planting roots. Yeah, he's committed to staying on for a few months to help her out. And yeah, he's talented and so very handsome. But Charolette's not looking for love. She searching for lost family ties.
He's here to train her horses, and then he's moving on. She's keeping her true identity a secret. But their spark complicates both of their plans.
When her mother's death leaves Charlotte Simpson bereft, she hopes the Robinson clan will accept her as one of their own and help fill the void. But a startling discovery dashes her hopes and leaves her wondering if she will ever know the father she's always longed for.
Horse trainer Gunner Dawson has experienced profound loss and intends to avoid it. So he lives on the move without forming close bonds or putting down…
