I loved reading this book as it is so refreshingly different compared to other books in this space.
It focuses on what we can do rather than what we can’t and emphasises that we have more in common than what divides us when it comes to climate change.
And the most important thing we can do about climate change is talk about it based on shared values, and it’s all about discovering what those are, whether it’s family, hobbies, outdoor activities, or faith. Talking about climate change is both a challenge and an encouragement for an introverted (yet social) sustainability…
From Sigrun's list on climate hope and action.
I love this book because it builds on Katharine’s expertise in climate science and her experiences trying to communicate her knowledge to the general public. She presents a hopeful way to think about what we can individually do to contribute to stopping the climate crisis.

This is not…

Enter Katharine Hayhoe, climate communicator extraordinaire and a long-term heroine of mine. She shows how we can all start dialogues, and so build a network for collective action. She’s a renowned climate scientist herself, but she knows well that facts are only one part of this process. To build true connections, and really motivate people, she explains, we need to find shared values. And she talks us through exactly how to…
