The truth can set you free. Or destroy your life

When blood spatter expert Claudia O'Shiel finds herself on stage to talk about the most famous criminal case in recent history, she has a choice to make: explain how her evidence put away the man responsible for the brutal double murder? What is my book about?

A spellbinding journey through time and cultures

Annie Thornton, an English midwife and apprentice witch, her telepathic cat, Rosamund, and her witchy Aunt Meg, travel to 17th-century London to see William Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.

Overcrowded London is bursting at the seams with the privileged, the poor and the rogues. A bag of silver brought by the travellers to purchase food and lodgings becomes a sought-after prize by criminal gangs who will stop at nothing to achieve their goal.

In constant danger, Annie and Meg send out a call for friends from the past. They also engage William Shakespeare to devise scenarios to befuddle the gangs and bring them to justice. What a few wigs, costumes and up-and-coming actors can do!
