Book cover of Harrow the Ninth

❤️ loved this book because...

Never have I encountered a plot so confusing for so long and yet managed to deliver the landing exactly as I needed it to be and more. Harrow the Ninth didn't simply build from what had been established in Gideon the Ninth; it utterly destroyed the foundation and rebuild everything into a magnificent castle of a story, in ways you didn't think was possible. Harrow is heartbreaking, and hilarious, and bewildering, and by the end of it all I wish is to remove my memory of this book so I could read it again for the first time. I didn't think a story could make me feel this way.
