I loved God and the Gumiho because from start to finish, it was such a unique read with a fresh, unique voice! I was immediately drawn into the complex world based from Korean mythology, the characters had a lovely slow burn romance and it was a joy to watch them grow throughout the book. The ending was unexpected, but it just makes me all the more eager to read Book 2, which is currently on my TBR.

'Oh my god this book just blew out all my expectations. I wasn't expecting the romance, which was INCREDIBLE. Hate to love, written in such a fantastic way. I loved the juxtaposition between the grump god and the annoying and hyper gumiho. One of my favourite books this year so far. I NEED more!' Reader Review

The Twice-Sold Soul brings a fresh and inclusive take on all the 90s urban fantasy shows I loved so much: Buffy, Charmed, and Supernatural. It made me nostalgic and I adored the more modern twist to it.
McKenna was a fun protagonist to follow and it was a joy to watch her grow throughout the story and take responsibility for her actions. I especially loved the themes of friendships and family and how important they were to not only the plot, but to our protagonist. I was thinking about this one for awhile, and am looking forward to the second book in the series!
Fans ofBuffy and Charmed will love this queer fantasy romance set in a magical high school reunion!

I was a huge fan of The Hurricane Wars when it came out in 2023, so of course when Book 2 came along, I was ready to continue on with Alaric and Talasyn’s story in the world of Lir. This book was lush, romantic, and spicy, and I enjoyed reading about the main characters coming to terms with their complicated feelings for each other.
The worldbuilding and character development continued to suck me in.
I’ll forever adore that it’s a Southeast Asian inspired world, because SEA is my childhood home.
'Thea Guanzon's talent is limitless, and she is the kind of writer that comes around once in a generation. Mark my words: lives will be changed by The Hurricane Wars trilogy.' Ali Hazelwood, New York Times bestselling author of The Love Hypothesis
Two hearts circle each other in the eye of the storm in this Sunday Times bestselling follow-up to the The Hurricane Wars.
After a lifetime of war, Alaric and Talasyn were thrust into an alliance between their homelands. Now Talasyn must play the part of Alaric's willing empress while her allies secretly plot to overthrow his reign.
Mer-Queen Serapha has been murdered. The already fragile human-merfolk truce is shattered. And as Angie and Kaden find themselves on opposite sides of a rapidly escalating conflict, their loyalties to their families, their people, and each other will be tested.
When news of the merfolk become widespread in Angie’s Pacific Northwest town, she fights to protect the mer from those who wish them harm. But as vicious seas consume coastal cities and tragedy strikes her town and her family, she’ll need to decide whether to save her family and her people, or her relationship with Kaden and the mer.
In Mer-Prince Kaden’s queendom, an unlikely family member takes the throne, sowing dissent among the already fractured queendom and further straining their deteriorating relationship with humans. Branded a traitor for loving a human, he must make a choice between plunging the mer into all-out war, or fighting for the throne to unite his people, but leave Angie behind, as he can never take a human queen.
A cataclysmic war between humans and mer looms, and if Angie and Kaden cannot find a way to bring peace between their people, they’ll find the fragile mer-human truce shattered beyond repair, and the sea-crossed lovers will find themselves separated forever.
Join them in this romance and action-soaked sequel to Oceansong as they fight to save their relationship and their people while tensions between humans and merfolk reach a breaking point. That is, if the mer don't drown the world in their rage and sorrow first.
