Book cover of Tears of Liscor

❤️ loved this book because...

The 9th book of a series managed to bring everything that happened up to that point in the series to a climax, that was not only dramatic, but also extremely emotionally gripping. This book made me cry, even after I had finished it I couldn't stop my tears for quite a while.

Book cover of This Inevitable Ruin: Dungeon Crawler Carl Book 7

❤️ loved this book because...

I love this series and Matt Dinniman somehow manages to make every book in the series better than the one that came before it. The terrible situation the characters find themselves in still manages make me feel invested and the dark humor still manages to make me laugh, even as the plot becomes more complicated than ever before in the series.

What is this book about?

The time has come! Book seven in the bestselling Dungeon Crawler Carl series is here!

They call it Faction Wars. The ninth floor.

Nine armies, each led by rich and powerful aliens from across the galaxy. Each team has one objective: to capture and hold the castle at the very center of the battlefield. Strategy, alliances, pitched battles, and, of course, betrayal... It all makes for great fun and even greater television.

After all, none of these powerful aliens really die when they’re playing war.

Except this time. This time, winner takes all. Those who fall, stay in the ground.

My 3rd favorite read in 2025

Book cover of Morning Star

❤️ loved this book because...

I loved the whole trilogy but the third installment managed to end it in a way that simply felt incredibly satisfying to me. I know there are more books in the series but for now I am not continuing, simply because I don't want the third book's ending to be ruined for me.
