This is history at its finest! Not dry and very well researched. Although I felt Captain Cook deserved what he got for spreading venereal disease throughout the Pacific Islands.

I went on a kick reading nonfiction about adventures in the 18th and 19th centuries. This book was the most descriptive out of all and it blew my mind that anyone survived this trip.
