This book helped me understand how emotions map to conscious behavior and the biofeedback that's been scientifically proven through thousands of testings to better understand human consciousness. It is not a light book, but I enjoyed Sir David's sense of humor as he talked through the chapters and gave me greater appreciation for personal development to better understand my emotional field and how it impacts not just myself but everyone else.
The Map of Consciousness Explained is an essential primer on the late Dr David R. Hawkins's teachings on human consciousness and their associated energy fields.
Using muscle testing, Dr Hawkins conducted more than 250,000 calibrations during 20 years of research to define a range of values, attitudes and emotions that correspond to levels of consciousness. This range of values - along with a logarithmic scale of 1 to 1,000 - became the Map of Consciousness, which Dr Hawkins first wrote about in his New York Times bestseller, Power vs. Force.
In this book, readers will gain an introduction and deeper…
I've read several of Joe Dispenza's books and this one really made me think about how I relate to my own consciousness, the every day thoughts I have, and their impact on myself in daily life. I appreciated his meditations in the book and case studies that he shares from his retreats and field work. This is a dense but interesting read for anyone looking to better understand "the supernatural" and how it comes down to quantum physics.
The author of the New York Times bestseller You Are the Placebo, as well as Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself and Evolve Your Brain, draws on research conducted at his advanced workshops since 2012 to explore how common people are doing the uncommon to transform themselves and their lives.
Becoming Supernatural marries some of the most profound scientific information with ancient wisdom to show how people like you and me can experience a more mystical life. Readers will learn that we are, quite literally supernatural by nature if given the proper knowledge and instruction, and…
I enjoyed Matthew McConaughey's lively audiobook read from his audiobiography. He has quite the story and it was a fun, light read I enjoyed as I wind down before bed. I appreciated his humor and original story that helps me understand his life a bit better.
From the Academy Award (R)-winning actor, an unconventional memoir filled with raucous stories, outlaw wisdom, and lessons learned the hard way about living with greater satisfaction.
I've been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less.…
