Kristin Ardis ❤️ loved this book because...

This book was everything I wanted from a romantic fantasy. Swoon-worthy, no spice romance. A sweeping story full of adventure. Twists and turns to surprise and delight. It's a beautifully-written tale that I'd love to read again!

What is this book about?

LET ME TELL YOU A STORY...

AUDRA JASHOWIN is a storyteller without a purpose.

When all the tales in the land of Mithra-Sha lost their endings, Audra fled from her family's rejection and the only home she ever knew. Now, with a sense of veiled danger haunting her heels and her life as devoid of direction as her stories, she arrives at long last in a city of fresh starts and second chances.

There, she finds an adventure greater than she ever dreamed.

JAIK GRISSOM might be the key to bringing back the power of all stories.

Book cover of Identity

Kristin Ardis ❤️ loved this book because...

This is a book I've read more than once. (We won't talk about how many times I've read it in total, thank you.) I love the swoony, romantic take on The Goose Girl and the main characters' relationship gets me in the feels every time. While it's an intriguing story, this book is soft and comforting one, which made it the perfect bedtime audiobook.

What is this book about?

Anwen's uncanny resemblance to Princess Lavena has been a curse since the moment she entered her service, as the spoiled princess has frequently used it to her advantage by forcing Anwen to switch places with her. But Princess Lavena’s latest scheme is her worst—and most dangerous—yet: compelling Anwen to take the princess’s place in her marriage to her loathed fiancé, Prince Liam. Bound by an enchanted contract not to reveal the charade, Anwen is forced to go through with the masquerade and endure a marriage to a man who despises the woman he believes her to be. As time goes…

This was a comfort re-read because I adore the world, these characters, and the originality of the retelling. It's one I've re-read before and I will likely do so again!

What is this book about?

A prince who’s king too soon, a princess determined never to be queen—two kingdoms at war

Princess Wren is not the crown princess. Everyone else might think her six older brothers are dead, but she knows the truth. They’re very much alive, and her oldest brother will absolutely assume the throne. Once he becomes a little less feathered…and beaky. The trouble is, that requires Wren to fulfill the terms of the curse that transformed her brothers into swans—which means she can’t speak a word to a living soul.

For six years.

What is my book about?

A kingdom at war.
A search for missing memories.
And a tangled web of love, loss, loyalty, and lies.

After months of recovery, Khara Laveya is desperate to leave the medical wing and restore the memories she lost in a brutal rebel attack. Her responsibility to her kingdom as future Sovereigna is a looming distraction from reclaiming them.

Torn between duty and desperation, Khara is haunted by a mysterious grove that calls to her in her dreams. Finding the grove may lead to her missing memories, but venturing beyond the city walls is an act of treason. Worse, it risks another encounter with the ruthless rebel forces.

To enter the forest could mean death … or something far more sinister.

The secrets lurking in the shadows could destroy the life Khara has sacrificed so much to rebuild and unravel the kingdom itself.
