This book was everything I wanted from a romantic fantasy. Swoon-worthy, no spice romance. A sweeping story full of adventure. Twists and turns to surprise and delight. It's a beautifully-written tale that I'd love to read again!

This is a book I've read more than once. (We won't talk about how many times I've read it in total, thank you.) I love the swoony, romantic take on The Goose Girl and the main characters' relationship gets me in the feels every time. While it's an intriguing story, this book is soft and comforting one, which made it the perfect bedtime audiobook.

This was a comfort re-read because I adore the world, these characters, and the originality of the retelling. It's one I've re-read before and I will likely do so again!
