This was a fun story with likable main characters (one grumpy, depressed coward trying to do better and one cinnamon roll Jewish Egyptologist).I often couldn't predict what would happen. Despite the horror vibes of an ancient Egyptian spirit, not to mention an unsettling bad guy, the overall feel is quite cozy.

Readers can always rely on Copperman for an entertaining story. I enjoyed getting a look at the life of an agent for acting animals. The mystery was complicated enough that while I picked up on some things before the MC, I didn't understand it all until the final explanation.

Action packed fun! There's almost too much action in this romantic suspense, but a few quieter moments allow the characters to get to know each other, and the humorous dialogue keeps things fun even when lives are on the line.
