Book cover of Shantaram

❤️ loved this book because...

The story was already incredibly compelling, but what put it over the top for me was discovering that much of what was depicted were actually taken in large part from personal experiences of the author. It was an amazing adventure taking place in a world that I previously have had very little exposure to. Well told, captivating tale!
