Book cover of The Amazing Story of the Man Who Cycled from India to Europe for Love

Kavita Daswani ❀️ loved this book because...

This was such a fun, creative read. It's technically a travel memoir but it had such a unique angle that it could well have been fiction. It was beautifully written - simple yet engaging. Just a delight.

What is this book about?

Pradyumna Kumar, aka PK, was born into a poor, untouchable family in a small village in eastern India. My 3rd favorite read in 2024

Book cover of Babel

Kavita Daswani ❀️ loved this book because...

This is one of those books that are a must-read, even though it might be daunting at first: the plot is complex and multi-layered; the sort of book that if someone asks 'what is it about?', you're hard-pressed to tell them. But it's clear from the get-go why it won all those awards. It's a literary masterpiece.
