Stuart P. M. Mackintosh ❤️ loved this book because...

A dystopian post climate catastrophe tale of surviving in Australia after the collapse of state power. The picture is not that far from the reality in central Australia now. Great writing. Thought provoking ideas. A rapid and compelling read by a well-known highly talented author.

What is this book about?

One of The Guardian's best sci-fi books of the year.

An edge-of-your-seat, post-apocalyptic thriller. Perfect for fans of The Last of Us, Station Eleven and The Road, from twice Booker-shortlisted author Tim Winton.

'A blistering cli-fi epic' - The Guardian

Survival is only the beginning.

Book cover of Titanium Noir

Stuart P. M. Mackintosh ❤️ loved this book because...

Great work on picturing e the future of the haves and the have nots. The uber tech bros and the rest of the schlubs and working stiffs. A sci0fi future that is believable and shocking. Well worth picking up. A good change from th4e usual (still great) police procedurals I often devour.

Book cover of 2034: A Novel of the Next World War

Stuart P. M. Mackintosh ❤️ loved this book because...

First chapters shoot you forward and are terrifying. I found myself exclaiming out loud. My goodness what great pace and storytelling. Such a possible future pulled close to the reader with full force and shocking impact. Made me worry a great deal. But that is what good fiction - or any writing should do? Make the reader reappraise their assumptions and current understandings.

Don‘t forget about my book 😀

Climate Crisis Economics

By Stuart P. M. Mackintosh ,

Book cover of Climate Crisis Economics

What is my book about?

Climate Crisis Economics: A Race of Tipping Points draws on economics, political economy, scientific literature, and data to gauge the extent to which our various communities – political, economic, and business – are making the essential leap to a new narrative and policy approach that will accelerate us towards the necessary transition to a decarbonised economy and sustainable future. Time is fast running out to avoid tipping points of no return, warns Mackintosh.

The book draws out policies and practices with both national and local examples, which demonstrate various complementary approaches that are empowering states and people as they seek to pursue the carbon-neutral goal. The author delineates a climate crisis economics approach that is fit for purpose and which can help achieve necessary climate change goals in the decades ahead.
