IT was funny. I also loved the fact the main heroes were middle aged. I loved that mythology/folklore was not European based. ALso PIRATES!

I reread the whole series just to read the latest book becasue I LOVE this world. It is such a unique concept of a world that has many gods. Also the way the romances develop are fun. the characters are FUN. The action is is great. I am not bored with this series and cannot wait until Kingfisher writes the stories of the other paladins of Steel.
