It had a fresh plot that captured my attention. I also like the historical element of the time period, the protocols and manners required to navigate society.
The characters are very strong and they drew me in immediately. Nothing like a cunning and stealth enemy to bring two lost, brave, intrepid souls together. Love Justice rightfully served and happy endings.

Don't Look Back is a story of intrigue and intelligence verses evil and duplicity. Ms Quick is a master. You gotta love a plot like that. Also the historical element played a big part of this story.
